NMA Derm & Olay Research Grant
As part of our commitment to advancing the understanding of multi-ethnic skin health, the National Medical Association (NMA) Dermatology Section has partnered with Olay to fund innovative research on skin aging, precision medicine, and the application of artificial intelligence for multi-ethnic dermatological needs. This exciting new grant aims to support mid-career researchers and clinicians in exploring dermatological conditions across diverse populations, and we would be honored to have your expertise in evaluating the submitted proposals.
About the Research Grant:
The grant will fund a single research project that investigates the unique dermatological needs of multi-ethnic populations, with a particular focus on:
- Differences in skin aging, hydration, and pigmentation
- Precision medicine and artificial intelligence in dermatology
- Addressing dermatological disparities and improving outcomes for diverse ethnic groups

The NMA Derm/Olay Research Grant provides an annual, non-renewable award of $50,000 in financial support for research projects related to skin aging, precision medicine, or artificial intelligence in skin of color.
All NMA Derm/Olay-funded research must be conducted in the U.S. under the sponsorship of a department/division of dermatology. Applicants must hold an MD/DO degree and meet the eligibility requirements.
This award is intended for mid career dermatologists or researchers within 10 years of post-graduate training completion.
